Mission Statement
The M-581 Fire Program Management Course Steering Committee provides national leadership in management of the M-581 training course. Primary objectives include
- Develop and maintain the M-581 training course based on commonly established Agency Administrator and Fire Management Officer performance requirements.
- Coordinate with M-582 Course Steering Committee to ensure alignment of curriculum between M-581 and M-582.
- Coordinate course delivery with Geographic Area Training Representatives (GATRs).
- Develop and maintain a course site or common file structure for course administration and delivery support.
